CLUB FIESTA: LA LIGA HABANERA - Konsert

Club Fiesta presenterar La Liga Habanera som bildades för 16 år sedan i Havana, Kuba och har i dag sin bas i Sverige. Sedan starten låter bandet sin moderna, souliga, funkiga take på kubansk ”Timba”, med inspiration från Buena Vista Social Club, Los Van Van, Beny Moré, Havana de Primera och Earth Wind & Fire ljuda över både Sverige och Europa. De kubanska sångarna levererar ett stabilt körpaket utsmyckat med leadsång ackompanjerat av rytm-sektionens svängiga afrokubanska rytmer. Blåssektionen är definitionen av tajthet, samtidigt som pianisten och basisten matar ut montunos som får dansgolvet att lyfta! 2024 släppte La liga Habanera sitt andra album och i vår gör de flera spelaningar i Sverige bland annat på legendariska Fasching i Stockholm och i Malmö hos oss på Moriskan.

Due to doctors’ recommendations, BG+’s world tour have been postponed to 2025, including concerts in Scandinavia. The concert in Malmö is moved to March 21st.

All tickets purchased for the show in Malmö are valid for the new dates. If the new date doesn’t work for you, you can request a refund. All information regarding the refund will be mailed to each customer, please check your mail. Thank you for your understanding.

The legend of Russian rock with a new big concert program – for the first time ever in Malmö!

There is hardly any Russian-speaking person in the world that hasn’t heard of Boris Grebenshikov (BG), also known as the leader of the band Aquarium. BG’s poetry literally re-invented the Russian language that is spoken today. 

Under the recent years BG has continuously and bravely raised his voice against the injustices and the repressions in his native country. Since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion in Ukraine he remains one of the most powerful critics of the illegal aggression and a Ukraine supporter. He currently lives in the UK.

What makes BG’s music unique? During the 70s and 80s he created an entirely own musical and social aesthetic. Influenced by a variety of music styles and cultures, his sound nevertheless remained recognizable – whether performing quiet love ballads, light dancing reggae or powerful rock-n-roll anthems. His classical discography consists now of over 30 studio albums. 

Grebenshikov is also no stranger outside the Post-Sovyet countries. His albums were recorded and released throughout Europe, and North America, and he is widely known and respected among top Western musicians. 

BG+ are musicians Alexander Titov, Brian Finnegan, Andrey Surotdinov, Konstantin Tumanov and Liam Bradley – Grebenshikov’s kindred spirits since the times of Aquarium.
